- About the data: The maintainer's README: a combination of Tycho-2, the Hipparcos Catalog, the Yale Bright Star Catalog, the Gliese-Jahreiss Catalog and IAU star names, with distances and velocities for most stars from the Gaia mission's DR3. The site uses AT-HYG as the plan names it; it downloads nothing from the Gaia archive.
